Jon Oksenholt, Chief Executive Officer of Oksenholt Companies announced today that they have acquired the El Conquistador apartment complex in Tucson, AZ. Due to an accelerated due diligence period and ability to quickly secure financing the transaction was able to close ahead of schedule. Oksenholt companies plan select unit upgrades for the property and will retain the current property name due to its strong local reputation.
For over two decades, Oksenholt properties has been involved in real estate development and investment in Oregon, Arizona, and New Mexico. This will be the company’s first foray into the Tucson market. El Conquistador consists of 201 apartments in 12 two story garden-style buildings on approximately 6.74 acres. Community amenities include a basketball court, racquetball, sand volleyball, tennis courts, barbecue grills, and a heated swimming pool and spa. MEB Management has an existing relationship with Oksenholt Companies and will manage the property.
